Summary of Role
The Institute of Cancer Research is currently seeking a Head of Reward and Information to join its HR Operations team. Responsible for a team of five, incorporating Pensions and HR Systems and Information teams, you will ensure the delivery of a high-quality, business-focussed service, acting as the subject matter expert in pay and reward across all levels.
Key Requirements
You will be responsible for ensuring all relevant policies, procedures and documentation in relation to pay and pensions is up to date and meets legal and good practice requirements, and for reporting, reconciliation and analysis of HR data internally and externally.
The successful applicant will have previous experience of managing a team, advanced Excel and data analysis skills. You’ll need an excellent working knowledge of HR systems administration, including integrated HR and Payroll systems, and of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. Experience of completing annual HESA returns and gender/ethnicity pay gap reporting is highly desirable, as is experience gained within an academic, not-for-profit, or NHS organisation. A working knowledge of Clinical Academic remuneration is also desirable.
