Job Details

Under the leadership of Professor Céire CostelloeWe are seeking an experienced quantitative methodologist to contribute to the complex system analysis research axis of the new Health Informatics team. This is an opportunity to join the newly established Health Informatics team at the Institute of Cancer Research.

The successful candidate will have a track record of developing and applying new methodologies for the analysis of real-world data. Working closely with colleagues in the Royal Marsden hospital, in a truly multidisciplinary environment of clinicians, researchers and health informaticians the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their contribute and lead analysis within the Team, seek competitive funding and build national and international collaborations with external institutes.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate within a multidisciplinary environment of clinicians, researchers and health informaticians to formulate research projects by identifying (clinically relevant questions, data, methods) triplets and provide guidance on analysis in existing projects.  The candidate is expected to develop their own research programme, seek competitive funding (including PhD fellowship if appropriate) and build national and international collaborations with external institutes.
