As Strategic Development Manager, you will be required to drive forward projects that are key to the ICR's educational strategy; managing educational collaborations, monitoring and supporting student employability initiatives, interpreting responses to national student surveys, implementing enhancements to our education provision and conducting reviews of educational policy.
This new role would suit a self-starter with an interest in policy development and managing projects. The successful applicant would have exposure to a number of varied workstreams with projects involving interaction with a wide range of stakeholders from students to senior academics internally and at partner institutions. The post holder will be an integral part of the Registry team and will be required to work closely with colleagues across Academic Services and the ICR.
Currently hybrid working: 2 days per week on-site in either Sutton or Chelsea or both but with travel to either site as required. Part-time or flexible hours may be considered.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate must have an undergraduate degree, or significant experience of working in a university environment, as well as an understanding of postgraduate education and the higher education environment. They must be an excellent communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills and the ability to summarise complex information and data succinctly and clearly to senior colleagues. The right candidate would need the ability to think strategically; connecting policy and strategy to proposals for workable systems and process developments.
