Job Details

We are seeking to appoint a Data Manager to join the Bob Champion Unit/Department of Radiotherapy Clinical Trials which undertakes research trials in radiotherapy and urological cancers.   

The successful applicant will provide data management support to the Academic Uro-Oncology Unit, with responsibility for the collection, co-ordination and input of clinical trial data on both trial case report forms and electronic database systems.

 

Key Requirements

The successful candidate must be educated to at least A-level.  They must have excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure highly effective and appropriate communication both with patients and with external partners.

 
This is a demanding role and applicants must be organised, self motivated and able to manage complex studies, planning their work and competing priorities around a busy clinical unit.  They should be logical and methodical, possess strong problem solving skills and be fluent in the use of MS Office applications.
