Key Information

Salary: Appointments are normally made at the starting salary, however comparable skills and experience will be considered.
 
Duration of Contract: Permanent role.
 
Hours per week: 35 hours per week (Full Time)
 
Location: Based in Chelsea with occasional (around once a month) visits to the ICR's Sutton site. This role is eligible for hybrid working.

Job Details

As the ICR's Communications Officer – Social Media Lead, you will be responsible for placing the ICR at the heart of conversations about cancer research on social media.

As part of the Fundraising Communications and Engagement team, the post holder will work closely with colleagues to increase support for the ICR.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate must be a natural communicator with experience of working on busy social media channels. They must have a demonstrable interest in the communication of science and medicine and have a passion for generating support for cancer research.
