Job Details

The Institute of Cancer Research, London, is one of the world’s most influential cancer research institutes. We are passionate about our mission to make the discoveries that defeat cancer.

The Development Office is responsible for fundraising and philanthropic income across the ICR, maximising support from major donors, individuals, trusts, corporates, charity partners and events. We have a proud track record of performing at a consistently high-level year on year, raising in excess of £13m per annum. We have ambitions to grow this significantly in the next few years through a £50m campaign to support the work of our Centre for Cancer Drug Discovery.

The delivery of a robust cultivation and stewardship events programme is crucial to supporting our major gifts programme, providing unique engagement opportunities for our current and potential supporters. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Events Officer to assist with planning, executing and delivering creative events that showcase the ICR’s world-leading research.

To be successful in this role you will be highly organised, creative and have an eye for detail. Working with the Events Manager, you will be able to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously to help drive our events programme forward.

We encourage all applicants to access the job pack attached for more detailed information regarding this role.
