Your Opportunity

We’re looking for a Finance Apprentice who is serious about learning and growing, particularly within a Finance environment, and who can take a logical, methodical and proactive approach to work. We will ensure that you receive the necessary training to make you well rounded finance professional by the end of your Level 7 Finance Apprenticeship. 

As a Finance Apprentice, you’ll gain knowledge and experience in a real-life business environment, with tasks involving financial reporting and management accounting. The programme will allow you to gain a great understanding of the different areas of Finance and be involved in the day-to-day activities of our finance function.
 
You'll spend a minimum of 20% (or 1 day a week) of your time learning and studying to complete relevant assignments and learning objectives set by apprenticeship schedule. By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll also have achieved your professional Accountancy Qualification. This will be a great kick start to your accounting career! 
 
What will I do?
 
As a Finance Apprentice, you’ll gain knowledge and experience in a real-life organisational environment, with tasks involving financial reporting and management accounting. You will be required to support the Finance team in the provision of financial and performance information for regular management reporting, funder compliance and grant costing calculations by maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial information held on the finance system (Agresso) and the staffing information for roles funded by research grants.
