Job Details

We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Trials Assistant to work within the Bob Champion Clinical Trials Unit which undertakes research trials in radiotherapy and urological cancers.

Key Requirements

Applicants will be educated to at least A-Level or equivalent.   They must have excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure highly effective and appropriate communication both with patients and with external partners. 

This is a demanding role and applicants must be organised, self motivated and able to manage complex studies, planning their work and competing priorities around a busy clinical unit.  They should be logical and methodical, possess strong problem solving skills and be fluent in the use of MS Office applications.

Department/Directorate Information

The Bob Champion Unit lies within the section of Radiotherapy and Imaging for urological cancers at the Institute of Cancer Research.  The research is carried out in The Royal Marsden Hospital and all employees employed by the ICR but working within The Royal Marsden will have a contract of employment with the ICR but will also have an Honorary contract with The Royal Marsden (RMH).
