About the Role
We are seeking a Corporate Partnerships Officer to join our Development and Communications Directorate and contribute to corporate income generation goals. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing existing corporate relationships as well as developing new business opportunities for the corporate partnerships function.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent account management and stewardship to a portfolio of corporate relationships.
- Maximise fundraising from corporate supporters against a personal income target.
- Identify and generate new funding opportunities from corporates.
- To support the overall goals of the Corporate Partnerships Team.
About You
It is an exciting time to join the Corporate Partnerships Team as we enter a period of growth. You will be supported in this role by the (Senior) Corporate Partnerships Manager, working with the wider Development and Communications Directorate as we aim towards ambitious targets in the coming years. If you are proactive, enjoy relationship-building, like to learn, and care deeply about improving the lives of people affected by cancer, then this role is for you.
You will do well in this role if you have:
Previously worked in a fundraising or B2B sales environment with a focus on account management and/or business development.
Proven experience in relationship-building, stakeholder management, and/or customer service.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Experience with using a CRM system.
An interest in scientific discovery and/or medical research.
