Duration of Contract: Fixed Term for 18 months

About the Role

We are seeking a HR Recruitment Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join the HR department as part of the Stratus project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, testing and implementation of Recruitment in the new Oracle system.

Reporting to the HR workstream lead, the role is accountable to the Stratus programme for delivery, and works with the HR directorate to establish business requirements and ensure Recruitment processes, design is fit-for-purpose, adheres to design principles and has been tested successfully.  

This role will lead the development of the ICR’s Recruitment activities and reporting within Oracle in collaboration with digital services, HR colleagues, implementation partner and colleagues from across the professional services directorates.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, testing, and delivery of the end-to-end Oracle Recruitment Cloud solution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in workshops and meetings related to the recruitment function, providing specialist SME input into the recruitment design process.
  • Drive the design, testing, documentation, and build of core recruitment processes that comply with operational and statutory requirements, escalating any inconsistencies with design principles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Stratus team, HR, Finance and Research to gather recruitment data, process, system, and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure recruitment reports, notifications, approvals, delegations, and security roles are fit for purpose and documented correctly.
  • Develop a testing plan, create testing scripts, and conduct user acceptance testing of the recruitment solution, ensuring all test evidence is documented.
  • Assist in developing and delivering effective training, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides for the new recruitment processes.
  • Serve as a key point of contact on behalf of the recruitment solution alongside the HR ERP Implementation Lead.
 
 
About You
Candidates for this role should be educated to degree level in a relevant field or have equivalent knowledge and experience. A qualification in HR, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, HR technology, or HR analytics is essential. Experience with Oracle Recruitment Cloud is highly desirable. 
 
The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of HR recruitment processes and systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment. Knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements is also required. Experience in HR business process mapping and optimisation would be beneficial.
